Yesterday was a very productive day at Weldon House Farm! We got all the trails cleared of downfall and cleaned up, numbers on the jumps, directional markers put in place and the start/finish line set up. A huge thank you to: Cleo and Jenny for sending Daniel over with a Gator and chain saw, Annie Mac for her big Case tractor and chain saw, Susan Galbraith with rake and surveyor’s tape, Sandy Johnston with staple gun and expertise, Doris and Eddie for getting the starting area roped off, and my Armando for working so hard with Daniel and for putting up with me! Team work….I love it.
At present they are calling for a pleasant day Sunday. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed. 23 teams entered the Hunter Pace at the Central Entry Office and qualify for year end awards. Many more have called for info and will be coming as post entries.
May I ask each individual who has graciously volunteered for Sunday to bring along a 6-pack of their favorite beverage to add to the “Hunter Pace Cooler” – that way competitors and volunteers can have a little refreshment at the end of their day.
