KLM Images has just published a photo essay for a weekday hunt of the Blue Ridge Hunt at a wooded fixture inside the great bend of the Shenandoah River where it hits the Blue Ridge and turns north. Giel Millner (via a silent auction win) got to ride in the huntsman’s pocket and helped out afterwards by providing pony rides for the kids from the property who were most willing (and colorful) spectators.

63rd Running of the Blue Ridge Hunt Point to Point

The 63rd running of the BRH Point to Point will be at Woodley Farm in Berryville on March 10 with Pair Races at Weldon House on March 11.

Pat Cooney and Brian Ferrell are co chairs of the races.
Nini Hapworth is chair of the pairs races.
Andi Howells is chair of advertising and sponsorships.
Doris Stimpson is parking chair.
Geil Millner is chair of banner sales.

KLM Images has just published the photo essay for the meet of the Blue Ridge Hunt at Huntingdon earlier this month. Alas we could not stay for the entire meet, so the essay ends after the successful prevention of a highway 340 crossing by hounds (and the buck got away).

KLM Images has just published its photo essay for the Thanksgiving Meet of the Blue Ridge Hunt at historic Long Branch. It was a gloriously lovely day and everyone was polished and gleaming.

This is always a big community event, and you knew that would be successful as they kept bringing out more gallons of the hot buttered rum and hot mulled port.
