Annual General Meeting

We held our Annual General Meeting at the Millwood Community Center on May 14, attended by over 50 people with a nice dinner afterwards. Members had the opportunity to meet our new staff, Guy Allman, Huntsman, and Tom Hopson, First Whipper-In, and to wish them well.

Robin Duncan and Marianne Casey were elected to the board. Chairman Terry Chandler has resigned for personal reasons. A new chairman will be elected next week.

Trail Ride – May 20

This week’s trail ride is Sunday May 20 at 10 am from Mount Prospect Farm, located off of Swift Shoals Rd in Berryville.

There is a private farm lane just before Swift Shoal turns from pavement to gravel. Turn left up the hill and bear left to park in field in front of the house.

Annual General Meeting

This year’s Annual General Meeting will take place on Monday, May 14, at 6:00 pm at the Millwood Community Center.

After the business portion of the meeting, there will be a dinner and drinks around 7:15 pm. Members are invited to meet the new hunt staff.

Trail Ride – May 6

This week’s trail ride will be from The Clearing on Clay Hill Lane north of Millwood at 9 am, as the weather is expected to be warm.

Please check the monitor in case of bad weather for any changes: 540-837-1820.

We are looking for a host for the weekend of the 12th.

Weekend of the 19th will be from Prospect Spring on Swift Shoal Rd.

Weekend of the 26th will be from The Oaks on Tilthammer Mill Rd.

Trail Ride – April 21

There will be a trail ride on Saturday, April 21, from Weldon House Farm on Swift Shoals Rd in Millwood. The ride will start at 4pm and there will be a cookout afterwards.

The charge for the ride will be $20/adult. Non-riders are welcome to attend the cookout only, for $10.

The next trail ride will be on ~~Sunday, April 29~~ Saturday, April 28 at the Dower House on Warner Washington Lane in Berryville at 10 am.

There will be a Trail Ride this Saturday, Apr 14, at Locust Hill on Carters Line Rd in White Post at 10 am.
