Hound Show & Puppy Shows

The Virginia Hound Show will be the only show Blue Ridge will be competing in this year and we would welcome your support.  It will be at Morven Park on Sunday, May 24th.  We will be showing hounds in both the English and Crossbred rings starting at 9:00 am.  Maggie Mulry will be showing a hound in the Young Handlers Class at noon.  There are always great trade stands available as well as a food service.

Stiff competition for the junior handlers

We will be having several practices before the 24th to acclimate our puppies to noise and crowds before their show debut.  Our subscribers and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend these practices.  The first practice will be at Weldon House Farm on May 13th at 6:00 pm and neighboring hunts have also been invited.  The second practice will be at the Kennels on May 16th at 6:00pm.  There will be drinks and munchies, and the more people we have around the ring talking and laughing the better.  Hope to see you there.

The Blue Ridge Hunt Puppy Show will be at the Kennels on Monday, May 25th at 11:00 am.  This is a joint show with the Nantucket-Treweryn Beagles.  Luncheon to follow.
